About the W3C Day

The W3C Day in Spain is an annual conference, held in different cities in Spain. The objective of this event is facilitating a collaborative environment that enables stakeholders to share their knowledge on Information and Communication Technologies. This W3C Day is considered as one of the most important forums in Spain to discuss about the future of Web technologies in industry, academia, public sector, and the society in general.

This year’s edition will be held on 26th May 2016, in Gijón (Spain). The event will be composed of a series of keynotes and panels focused on the evolution of the Web towards the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm, framed in the potential interest for the industry —also referred as Industry 4.0.

The W3C Day in Spain is a open and free event where attendees may take part in the sessions, interacting with the best international experts in the IoT and Industry 4.0. It is expected to gather over a hundred of professionals (mostly from Spain) who are interested in the digital transformation of the business and the society in general through this new paradigm.

These experts will discuss about different areas of the Web of Things movement:

  • Smart Cities
  • Health
  • Smart Home
  • Manufacturing
  • Logistics
  • Weareable devices
  • Energy
  • Data Analysis
  • Scalable architectures

Demo area
